TransX is currently in the process of upgrading its systems
software.
We are currently in the final stage of the database analysis and
design phase of the process and are starting the end user interface
development. End users will begin using modules of the new system in
approximately 6 months time.
TransX currently has over 300 customers using its web enabled
tracking and tracing service.
Customers can track freight related documents and the status of
in-transit loads through the web site simply by requesting a unique
password and userid. Phone calls to obtain the status of shipments
and requests to obtain POD's and BOL's can all be eliminated.
