New Electronic APU's

TransX is now investing in the electric Auxiliary Power Unit (APU) technology. To date, we have purchased and installed over 50 units and will be purchasing 50 more as the new trucks continue to roll in. The Climacab APU will provide 10 hours of idle free sleeper berth temperature control. Over the course of a year that translates to approximately 2,000 less hours idling the trucks engine, and 17 tons less carbon exhauseted into the atmosphere. These APU's mounted onto our newest Smartway Certified Peterbilts boasts the very best and greenest technology that our industry has to offer.
